Founder and CEO
Carrolee Moore
Carrolee Moore is the founder and CEO of The Podcast Pitching Society, a podcast placement agency that helps subject matter experts get booked on right-fit, industry-leading podcasts and turn that visibility into business growth. She hosts the Currency of Visibility podcast and speaks on authority, storytelling, and getting paid for what you know.
Her story
How did Carrolee get here?
I was an immigrant kid with a lot of energy. Precocious, opinionated, and quick to make friends.
Then I moved from Jamaica to a new place, and I lost that voice for years.
Corporate America didn't give it back. I spent 15+ years in corporate and business brand marketing, including Fortune 10 companies and higher education, and most of that time it didn't feel safe to use my full voice. So I built a persona I thought I needed to survive, and I tucked myself behind it.
Along the way I earned a BA in Communications Media from Fitchburg State University and an MA in African American Studies from Boston University, and completed three years of Master of Divinity studies at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
Entrepreneurship is where I broke through that, and where I found my voice again, on my own terms.
That's what The Podcast Pitching Society is for. I help experts free their voices in a way that keeps their expertise at the center, so the people who need them can find them, see them, and hire them. I believe the real experts can outsell the phony ones when they use their own stories, not just their data. I'm on a mission to help a million hidden experts do exactly that.
The Currency of Visibility™ podcast, and the book of the same name coming next year, are built on one idea: as service providers, our job is to transfer belief and trust, and that starts with us.
