The problem
Known inside your network. Invisible outside it.
Referrals built your business. They can't take it any further than the people who already know you.
You don't need to be convinced you're good at what you do. Your clients would hire you again tomorrow, and maybe you've already written the book and taken the stage.
The ceiling is reach. The people who should be hiring you have never heard your name, the event organizers booking bigger stages don't know you exist, and the older connections in your network still see you the way you were five years ago.
And when someone asks an AI assistant for the top experts in your field, the answer is built from what's been said about you in public, on the record, in places it can read. If you're not there, you're not in the answer.
The Engine fixes the reach problem by putting you in long-form conversations on the shows your buyers already trust, then making sure every one of those conversations keeps working after it airs.
What's included
Everything it takes to get booked, and to make it count.
Every Engine client gets the same white-glove standard. Nobody gets star treatment while somebody else gets less, and we do not phone it in.
- 01
Pitch materials built around you
Your bio, one-sheet, and pitch angles, built from your intake form, our calls, and public research, then refined with you in your first strategy session. Ready 24 to 48 hours after that session.
- 02
A curated show list
Right-fit shows sized to your goals and matched to your buyers. You mark each one yes, no, or need more info, and your yeses become the model for every list after.
- 03
Done-for-you pitching and scheduling
We pitch, follow up, and handle the back and forth with hosts and producers. You get the confirmed booking, the date, and everything you need to show up ready.
- 04
Weekly updates
Shows pitched, shows that said yes, next steps, and a short write-up on each booking with tips from past PPS guests or from Carrolee if she has been on the show.
- 05
Six strategy sessions with Carrolee
One a month, covering sales and marketing across your whole business and how the PPS work plugs into it, so everything moves in the same direction.
- 06
Six podcast prep sessions with Carrolee
Your intro, the host's questions, how to seed your offer through the interview without sounding like an ad, and how to close strong.
- 07
Your Visibility Power Points™ and guest press kit
The sharpest, most ownable positions you hold, written so hosts can say yes fast and audiences remember what you said.
- 08
Content from every booked episode
Captions, reels, an email, and an SEO blog post for each episode, so one interview turns into a month of content on your own channels.
- 09
A tracking dashboard
Every pitch, booking, recording date, and live episode in one place, plus the wins you report along the way.
- 10
Citation-building prep
In months five and six we prepare your published episodes for citation work, so if you move into The Citable Expert™ Multiplier, it picks up without a gap.
- Week 1
You sign, and you get in
One email with the link to book your first strategy session and a welcome gift, and a separate email with your agreement. Once it's signed, you get your client workspace, a shared Drive with folders to fill, and a full intake form.
- Weeks 1 to 3
Your message and your materials
Your first strategy session doubles as onboarding. We refine your positioning and your Visibility Power Points™, and your pitch materials are ready 24 to 48 hours later for your sign-off.
- Month 1
Your first show list, then pitching
You review your curated list. Once about 80% of it is a yes, pitching starts while we sort out the rest.
- Months 2 to 4
Intensive pitching
3 to 5 bookings a month, weekly updates, a monthly strategy session, and a monthly prep session with Carrolee before you record.
- Month 4
Your recap
We walk through the first four months: what aired, what came of it, and what's next, including whether The Citable Expert™ Multiplier makes sense for you.
- Months 5 and 6
Citation building begins
Pitching continues while we plan and prep citation work around your live episodes: blog posts on your site, social content, reels and clips, and the follow-ups from our checklist.
- Month 6
Your handoff
You leave with a body of published episodes and the content built from them, then roll into the Multiplier or close out.
The guarantee
At least 18 bookings in six months.
We guarantee a minimum of 18 podcast bookings across your six months, which works out to 3 to 5 a month.
That's the one thing we guarantee, because it's the one thing fully in our hands. What happens in the room is a partnership: we prep you, we plan the follow-through, and you show up. That's how the bookings turn into business.
Your time
About 5 hours a month.
You do the talking. We do everything around it.
After the first few weeks, the Engine takes about 5 hours a month of your time: one strategy session, one prep session, and your recordings.
The first few weeks ask more of you, because that's when we build your message and your materials together and you review your first show lists. After that, your job is to show up prepped and report your wins every week, the obvious ones like a signed contract and the quieter ones like a host introducing you to a referral partner.
If you have an assistant who manages your calendar, it takes even less.
Proof
What this looks like in real life.
Dr. Erin Wilson, CEO, Design Ideal Consulting
Closed two multi-five-figure B2B contracts within her first 90 days of podcast guesting, with a 36% lift in book sales from the link she shared on air.
"One host told me I'd been one of his favorite guests. So much of that came from Carrolee's prep."
Investment
Two ways to pay. One engagement.
- Paid in full$16,500
The full six months, paid once.
- Payment plan$3,000 a month
Six monthly payments for the same six-month engagement.
One or two inbound clients from the right shows usually cover the investment and then some. That's the math our clients run, and it's the math we help you run on your decision call.
Honest fit
Who the Engine isn't for.
You're not sure what your unique thing is yet
Start with The Citable Expert™ Intensive. The Engine sharpens your message in month one, but it isn't a rebrand.
You'd rather do it yourself
If you want a list and a template, that's not us. The Engine is for people who want it handled.
You're deciding on price alone
Our clients choose value first and invest at a premium. If cost is the deciding factor, we're probably not the right fit.
How much does The Citable Expert™ Engine cost?
The Citable Expert™ Engine is $16,500 paid in full, or $3,000 a month for six months. Both options cover the same six-month engagement.
How many podcasts will I be booked on?
You'll be booked on 3 to 5 podcasts a month, and we guarantee at least 18 bookings across the six months.
Is it month to month?
No. The Engine is a six-month engagement. The monthly option is a payment plan for those six months, not a cancel-anytime subscription.
What exactly do I get, and where does it live?
Your pitch materials, show lists, weekly updates, and episode content live in your client workspace and a shared Google Drive. The blog posts built from your episodes live on your own website, because that's where they build authority for you.
How fast will I get booked?
Pitching starts once you approve your pitch materials and about 80% of your first show list, which usually happens in the first month. Lead times depend on each show's recording calendar, so some interviews record within weeks and others are scheduled further out.
Do I need one message or several topics?
You need one clear position and a few angles on it. We build those angles with you as your Visibility Power Points™, so every pitch sounds like you and every host knows exactly why you belong on their show.
How involved do I or my team need to be?
After the first few weeks, about 5 hours a month: your strategy session, your prep session, and your recordings. If you have an assistant handling your calendar, it's even less.
Do I need a studio or special equipment?
No. A decent USB microphone, a quiet room, good light on your face, and a stable connection cover almost every show. We'll flag anything a specific host asks for before you record.
Does podcast guesting actually bring in clients?
It does when there's a system behind it. We prep you to seed your offer in every interview, plan what happens after each episode airs, and turn every appearance into content and citations. Our clients have closed five-figure consulting contracts and booked paid speaking engagements from podcast guesting.
Do you work with clients outside the United States?
Yes. The Podcast Pitching Society is an international agency with clients around the world, and we're still taking them.
